Route lifecycle
What to confirm from application onward
- Financial basis
- The foreign institution must establish income associated with the business-management assignment. The current route publishes no universal numeric income or investment threshold.
- Government service fees
- Temporary-residence charges depend on nationality. Confirm the applicant-specific amount in the current SERMIG schedule and portal.
- Initial status
- Temporary residence for recurring entries, subject to the general statutory duration framework and the route-specific six-month annual stay ceiling.
- Renewal
- A holder may request an extension with evidence that the activities supporting the original grant continue. Each extension is a separate decision.
- Dependents
- A spouse or equivalent partner and qualifying children within Law 21.325 Article 74(1) and (2) may apply as dependents under the separate procedure; approval is not automatic.
- Work rights
- The route establishes recurring executive or directive business-management activity. It does not publish unrestricted local employment or professional-practice rights, and this guide does not infer them.
- Presence considerations
- Total visits under this status may not exceed six months in each calendar year.
- Permanent residence
- The route page does not establish automatic eligibility for definitive residence. Any later application is separate and must satisfy the then-current subcategory, residence-history, and absence rules.
- Citizenship relationship
- Chilean nationality is separate and is not conferred by recurring business-management residence.
