What the current source supports

  • Document permanent foreign-source income of at least US$2,000 per month through the current rentier evidence that applies, such as qualifying dividends, property income, or foreign-bank investment income.
  • Hold the required RS residence visa and provide a passport with at least six months of validity under the current DGM service.
  • Provide the current birth, civil-status, foreign criminal-record, photograph, guarantee-policy, and medical evidence that applies to the applicant.
  • Apostille or legalize foreign documents as applicable and provide an accepted Spanish translation when required.
  • Begin through the DGM online portal, upload the requested files, then deposit the required originals and complete the in-person document and card steps identified by DGM.
