- Use the provisional-to-definitive permanent-residence sequence at the B/.100,000 level, or the direct permanent option at B/.350,000 or more.
- Provide the current common residence documents and the project, Ministry of Environment, property or company, ownership or commercial-relationship, accounting, and investment-transfer evidence applicable to the structure.
- Add B/.2,000 for each dependent through qualifying investment or the accepted bank-reference alternative and provide the dependent documents.
- Maintain the investment for at least five years and submit the annual proof required by SNM; the later definitive stage requires continued investment and current forestry and company registration.

Route lifecycle
What to confirm from application onward
- Financial basis
- B/.100,000 for the provisional-to-definitive sequence or B/.350,000 for the direct permanent option, plus B/.2,000 for each dependent unless the accepted bank-reference alternative is used.
- Government service fees
- The checklist lists B/.250 to the National Treasury and B/.800 to SNM for the principal. Confirm current payment and dependent charges before filing.
- Initial status
- At B/.100,000, provisional permanent residence followed by a separate definitive stage; at B/.350,000 or more, the applicant may choose the direct permanent option.
- Renewal
- The investment must be maintained for five years with annual proof. The provisional route also requires a separate definitive-residence application with current supporting records.
- Dependents
- The checklist adds B/.2,000 per dependent or accepts its stated bank-reference alternative, together with relationship and responsibility documents.
- Work rights
- No unrestricted local-employment right is inferred from forestry investment residence.
- Presence considerations
- No route-specific physical-presence minimum is stated in the cited checklist.
- Permanent residence
- The threshold determines whether the applicant follows a provisional-to-definitive sequence or may request direct permanent residence. Neither result is automatic.
- Citizenship relationship
- Citizenship is a separate process and is not established by the forestry investment.
