Route lifecycle
What to confirm from application onward
- Financial basis
- At least B/.300,000 in qualifying unencumbered real estate plus at least B/.300,000 in a qualifying unencumbered fixed deposit held for at least three years.
- Government service fees
- The current official checklist lists certified checks for B/.250 to the National Treasury and B/.800 to the National Immigration Service. Confirm the live amounts and any additional charges before payment.
- Initial status
- Provisional permanent-resident permission under the mixed-investment solvency category.
- Renewal
- The official checklist describes a later definitive-permanence application using the Article 194 requirements, except the criminal-record certificate and the two checks, plus the stated tax-clearance evidence.
- Dependents
- The checklist permits dependent evidence but does not state a route-specific additional investment amount; none is inferred.
- Work rights
- No general local-employment right is inferred from the mixed property-and-deposit basis.
- Presence considerations
- The cited checklist does not establish a route-specific physical-presence rule.
- Permanent residence
- The route is expressly structured from provisional permission to a separate definitive-permanence filing; the later status is not automatic.
- Citizenship relationship
- Naturalization is a separate constitutional process and is not established by this investment route.
