Supported requirements

What the current source supports

  • Prove Italian nationality through the current passport and the Italian identity, residence, citizenship, or navigation document accepted by the checklist.
  • Provide the notarized power and application, photographs, passport copy, criminal-record certificate, health certificate, and sworn personal-background form.
  • Document the residence purpose through a paid nominative share certificate, a Ministry of Labor-endorsed employment contract with salary of at least B/.850, or the applicable public-registry company evidence.
  • Show sufficient economic solvency through a bank certification, recent statement, other income evidence, or another form accepted by SNM. The checklist does not support converting its unusual wording into a universal fixed balance.
  • Provide responsibility, relationship, repatriation, domicile, study, or civil-status evidence where the applicant includes dependents.

Route lifecycle

What to confirm from application onward

Financial basis
The employment-contract branch states salary of at least B/.850. Other activity branches require sufficient solvency acceptable to SNM, without a safely stated universal numeric balance.
Government service fees
The route checklist lists a B/.250 certified payment to the National Treasury. Confirm any current card, legal, or case-specific charges before filing.
Initial status
Indefinite permanent residence; the checklist states that no extension is required.
Renewal
The residence category is indefinite, while identity-document and status maintenance remain subject to current SNM rules.
Dependents
Dependents require their own relationship, responsibility, repatriation, domicile, and applicable adult study or single-status evidence. Approval is not automatic.
Work rights
The checklist accepts a Ministry of Labor-endorsed employment contract or documented company activity as the qualifying purpose. It does not establish unrestricted employment portability.
Presence considerations
No route-specific minimum-presence rule is stated in the cited checklist.
Permanent residence
This is a direct permanent-residence category under the treaty, subject to SNM approval.
Citizenship relationship
Panamanian nationality is a separate constitutional and administrative process; no citizenship result is inferred.
