What to confirm from application onward

Financial basis
A monthly pension of at least three current SBU. No currency conversion is presented because SBU is an indexed Ecuadorian unit.

Renewal
Renewal or a later status requires a separate filing under the current rules and continued qualifying evidence; no automatic renewal is promised.
Dependents
The procedure states an additional US$250 monthly means requirement for each dependent, but inclusion and approval remain separate decisions.
Work rights
This pension-based page does not infer unrestricted local employment or professional rights.
Presence considerations
The cited procedure does not establish one route-specific physical-presence maintenance rule.
Permanent residence
Permanent residence is a separate later application under the current mobility framework and is not automatic.
Citizenship relationship
Naturalization is a separate process and is not established by retiree residence.
